Legrand Version 4 - System Administration option are ‘greyed out’ or disabled.

This can be an issue for Legrand v4 users and can be caused by one of the two possibilities.

  1. The log in user account having a user-type of Public. Please contact your Legrand database administrator to have this confirmed or changed.
  2. The 2nd possibility is that the Microsoft XML parser – which is a component which Legrand CRM uses to store/retrieve User Authentication – is not installed on the PC.  To re-install this component execute the file MSXML3SP2Setup.exe which you will find in the Components directory inside your LegrandCRM directory. i.e. if you installed Legrand CRM in the default C:\, the full path is C:\LegrandCRM\Components\MSXML3SP2Setup.exe; if you installed Legrand CRM in your Program Files directory then the full path is C:\Program Files\ LegrandCRM\Components\MSXML3SP2Setup.exe
