When logging in users may receive the error message, License is in use by other user. You cannot login!

This can be caused by a number of issues.

  1. The license is registered on another PC running Legrand. Please check the Legrand serial numbers of all machines accessing the database.
  2. The windows user does not have the required read / write access to the Legrand database. Please have your network administrator check the permissions on both the local and master database folders (i.e. C:\Legrandcrm\demodatabase).
  3. The license control file may be ‘locked’ by windows. Please have your network administrator go to the database licenses folder (i.e. C:\Legrandcrm\demodatabase\licenses) and try to delete the file name Lserialno.lic. (i.e. L07898.lic).
